Further – Off Piste

17th to 24th January, 14th to 21st March and 11th to 18th April 2026

The ‘Further’ off piste weeks are based from Champoluc and skiing across the Monterosa Ski which includes the mountains high above Alagna and Gressoney. This week is aimed at skiers who want to venture off the groomed slopes in to terrain and snow conditions which are both exhilarating and entertaining. With such a vast mountain range to explore and relatively low numbers of skiers there’s almost always fresh tracks to be put in.

You will ski descents which you probably didn’t know existed or which you have looked at in the past and wondered ‘when’. In the Further weeks the entire mountain is potential for enjoyment and adventure. Routes are descended taking in to account the weather and snow conditions and the needs and aspirations of group members. You will receive a mix of coaching on the move and will be guided throughout.

Above all else skiers on the Further weeks are keen and enthusiastic about the mountains and possess a ‘have a go’ attitude. Some are more experienced than others, the base level of ability to ski well on red pistes and comfortable on black pistes. Most Further skiers have skied off piste before to some extent and are motivated to do more within a group of likeminded people.

Transceivers, other safety equipment and off piste all mountain skis can be hired in resort if you don’t have your own. We will show you how this equipment functions and check you know how to operate it at the start of the week. You will ski with the group for five days, Monday to Friday, all day from lift opening to closing.
